Flom, Abert O. papers, 1911-1945.

Contains Abert Flom's dues books from the Operative Plasterers' and Cement Finishers' International Association of the United States and Canada Local 41 in Sioux City, Iowa and Local 21 in Des Moines, Iowa. Includes working cards issued by the Iowa State Building Trades Council and Sioux City Building Trades Council; a time book; and drafts of a constitution for Local 41. Also contains a letter from Local 41 stating that A. Flom is a member of the union; a photo of Flom and four other workers; and a civilian identification card issued by the Army Airbase in Sioux City.

Abert Flom was born in Madison, Wisconsin on May 27, 1889. He moved to Sioux City, Iowa and joined the Plasterers' union. He was a member of the union for more than fifty years.
